Have you gotten away from doing what you love? No matter how long it’s been, heed the call and pick it up again.
If you prefer reading to watching, here’s the transcript.
Well, hey there. It’s Kristen. Welcome to Day 27 of Love Thyself: 30 Ways, 30 Days.
Today, I’d like to ask you if there has been something that you have wanted to do that has been calling to you, maybe, kind of almost driving you from within and pulling to you from the outside — asking, really, to be done, and asking for you to participate in it. You know, sometimes we get these nudges from Spirit, from the universe, however you call it — from your higher self, from God, if that’s the way you know the name for that, that something that is larger than ourselves.
But there’s a kind of a calling to it, and maybe you’ve started on it. Maybe you’ve kind of stepped into that pool of it, or those waters of it, if you will, and kind of given it a try, or you worked on it for a little while and you feel like life took you offline a little bit and you got distracted, or you got discouraged, or something. If there’s something like that that you keep thinking about, that kind of keeps calling to you, that keeps pulling you, that you kind of feel urged from the inside to continue to do, to pick up again, I want to say to you that it is a very loving thing to yourself and for yourself to go ahead and just pick up where you left off.
You know, there doesn’t have to be this coulda-woulda-shoulda, or this berating of ourselves, or guilting of ourselves, or blaming or shaming of ourselves for just getting taken offline or for needing to put it down for a while. You may find that when you go back to it you have a renewed sense of energy and inspiration and, just, desire to do it. You know, you’ve probably … we’ve talked about this before, about the being coming before the doing. And in the time that you’ve put it down, you very well may have kind of integrated it more. You may be at the point where you are being more of that now and it makes the doing of it easier.
So, whether it’s been six months since you’ve picked up something or a year or six years or 10 years, if it still calls to you — not from a place of regret, and oh, I wish I had done that then — but more from that place of calling to you and pulling you.
And if you think about it a lot, and you wake up thinking about it, and you go to sleep thinking about it, those are all signs that it may very well be for you to kind of step back into that again, pick it up again, do it again.
Love yourself enough to do that today.
So, that’s my thought for the day. If this resonated with you in any way, please go ahead and like and share it. And you can find more videos like this and other information over at beinganddoingnow.com. Thank you so much for joining, and I look forward to seeing you next time.
