Love Thyself: 30 Ways, 30 Days — Day 20

Question Mark

What if each and every choice in life was actually quite simple?

Well, hey there. It’s Kristen again. Welcome to Day 20 of Love Thyself: 30 Ways, 30 Days.

Today, my question for you is this: What if life could be simplified to the point of coming down to one choice over another, in any situation, in any and every way that we think life is very complex and very complicated? And in a lot of ways, life is complex and complicated. But I believe — and it’s taken me a long time to firmly believe it, you know, through and through, that I know that I know that I know — that it really … life really does boil down to a choice. And that choice is between love and fear.

And I first learned about that about 15 years ago — first heard that about 15 years ago — from a course I was taking, and it was called A Course in Miracles. And A Course in Miracles is a very interesting thing. You know, at the beginning of the book, it’s very clear, you know, it’s actually called — it calls itself — a required course. And required because it’s the kind of thing that is universal in the human experience. What it teaches is universal in the human experience, and if we are open to it, and we are willing to take in the message that it offers and really live it and apply it in our experience and see how it can shift and change things for us and change our thinking, it is totally transformative.

So, back to that original question. You know, A Course in Miracles does say everything is about a choice between love and fear. And everything is either an expression of love or a call for love, which is another way of saying it’s love being expressed or fear being expressed. So, my suggestion for you — or my invitation I think is probably a better word — my invitation to you is apply that in your life. Apply it for a day, apply it for an hour, apply it for a week, apply it for however long you would like to and see if you can trace the thread of everything that happens — of every action in your life that you take, every behavior you find yourself engaging in, every situation you find yourself confronting or challenged by or given the opportunity to take part in — apply that. See if there is a thread, if you keep walking back, or you keep asking yourself, OK, what is that about? and you kind of, like, bring it back to the original thought or the original feeling and see what it’s kind of grounded in and based in — see if that applies. And I would be very curious to know how that looked and felt and worked for you in your life. So, please comment below and let me know how that looked for you.

So, that’s my thought for you for today. And before I close, I would like to offer you a free gift, from my heart to yours, and that is an hour of my time for a coaching session where I kind of just dropped down into wherever you’re at in your life, I listen well, I listen clearly, and help you gain clarity around wherever you’re at at that moment or however you’d like that session to look. That hour will be your time to be heard, to gain some clarity, however you would like it to look. So, please feel free to message me here on Facebook if you’d like to take me up on that, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Wherever you are, I hope you are having a fabulous day and you remember how wonderful you are, and you remember that you are loved, you are loving, you are beautiful, and you are worthy.

Thanks so much for joining, and I’ll see you next time.
