Today’s inspiration: Keep going. What if the best is yet to come?
If you prefer reading to watching, here’s the transcript:
Well, hey there. It’s Kristen, and welcome to Day 17 of Love Thyself: 30 Ways, 30 Days.
Today I have just a very quick word of encouragement for you, and that is keep going. I don’t know if you are at a point in your life where you feel tired, you feel exhausted, you feel overwhelmed, or things just don’t seem to be going the way you’d like them to, or you’ve hit a rough patch, or a speed bump, or an obstacle, or whatever you want to call it.
I just want to say, it is worthwhile to keep going. It may be hard right now, but your story is not yet done. You are, like, on Chapter 10, maybe, of a book that never ends — a book that goes through eternity. So, keep going. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. Find a way. Find a mantra, like “This, too, shall pass” or something. But just keep going. It is a worthwhile journey, and the best is yet to come. Truly.
What if you woke up every day thinking the best is yet to come, no matter what happened yesterday or even what happened a minute ago? What if the thought is always, “The best is yet to come”?
Find something that you can hold onto when you get tired, and by all means rest when you need to. Absolutely rest. Take a breath, shift your focus for a little bit if you need to. Sometimes we can just be homing in on something so tightly that we can’t see anything else — and, you know, and maybe what we need is a fresh perspective on the same thing.
So, just wanted to offer you that encouragement today and spend some time with you. I hope you are having a wonderful day. And it is worth it to keep going. You are worth it.
So, before I close, I just want to offer you a free gift, and that is an hour of my time for a strategic coaching session that is designed to help you gain clarity around whatever it is that you need clarity in your life with right now. Please go ahead and message me here on Facebook if you’d like to take me up on that hour. And if this message resonated for you in any way and you’d like to offer the encouragement to somebody else, please go ahead and like and share.
Thanks so much. I’ll see you next time.
